Privacy policy

Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile phone number, password, the kind of client you are, and your brokerage and team. Your password is scrambled before it's stored, so no one, including us, can ever see it.
• Booking details: the property's address and size, the package and add-ons you choose, the shoot time, how we get in (including lockbox codes) and any notes for us.
• Payment details: your card is entered into a secure form run by our payment processor, Stripe, and never reaches our servers. We see only the card's brand, last four digits and expiry date, and the payments and invoices on your account.
• Preferences: your booking defaults and whether you want reminders by email or text.
• Showing requests: if you ask for a showing on a property website we host, the name and message you enter, which we pass to the listing agent.

Information we collect as we work: the photos, drone images, floor plans and property details we produce for your order. Delivered copies have camera and GPS data removed.

Information collected automatically: the cookies described below, and the technical records our hosting provider keeps when any website is visited (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested), used to run and secure the site.

How we use your information

• To give you quotes, including the travel fee from the property's location.
• To schedule, plan our route to and complete your shoot.
• To deliver your photos and build the property website for your listing.
• To take payment, send receipts and invoices, and handle cancellations and refunds.
• To send the emails and texts you need about your bookings, and to answer your questions.
• To keep the site and your account secure and to prevent fraud.
• To keep the business records the law requires.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build marketing profiles.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and tick the box to receive texts, Seneca Peak will text you about your shoots: reminders the evening before, updates when we're on the way or have arrived, and when your photos are ready. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.

Texts are optional and never a condition of booking. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also turn text reminders off in your account's preferences. We record when you agreed to receive texts.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text message opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are shared only with the providers that deliver our text messages, to send them.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the service, each only for that purpose:

• Stripe: payments, saved cards, invoices and refunds.
• Cloudflare: storing photos and other delivered files.
• Resend: sending our emails.
• Twilio: sending our text messages.
• Google Maps Platform: address suggestions, locations, drive times and maps. Addresses you type are sent to Google to look them up.
• Vercel and Neon: hosting the website and its database.

Property websites are public once they're published and the order is paid. They show the photos, the property's details and, on the branded version, the listing agent's name and contact details. The agent decides what goes on the site.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a buyer if the business is ever sold. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and browser storage the site needs to work: to keep you signed in, to remember which team account you're using, to keep your booking in progress if you refresh the page, and to remember light or dark mode. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

How long we keep it

• Lockbox codes are erased as soon as the shoot is done.
• Account details are kept while your account is open.
• Orders, payments and invoices are kept as business records, even if you close your account.
• Delivered photos and files are kept so you can download them again later.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your choices").

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections. Passwords are scrambled so that no one, including us, can read them, lockbox codes are encrypted, card details stay with Stripe, and our own team signs in with passkeys rather than passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can see your information to the two of us and the providers above.

Your choices

• Update your name, phone number and preferences in your account at any time.
• Stop texts by replying STOP, or turn reminders off in your preferences.
• Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion by emailing hello@senecapeak.io. If you've booked with us, we'll close your account and remove what we can, but keep the order and payment records the law requires.

Children

Our services are for real estate professionals and property owners. They aren't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
